Estate Planning Review
Beyond retirement planning, estate planning is one of the most important financial decisions a person can make.
As part of our initial engagement, we will review your estate planning documents and continue to do so throughout the relationship.
We will review the most common estate planning documents, including:
- Wills
- Living Trusts
- Irrevocable Trusts
- Powers of Attorney
- Living Wills
We will discuss with you questions such as:
Do you have any charitable intent that you would like to include in your estate plan?
Do you have beneficiaries with special needs?
Do your non probate assets align with your planning under your will and trusts?
Do you have a plan for your digital assets?
What do you want to happen with your tangible personal assets?
Estate planning laws do change, if your documents are not current with the new laws, you could be adding additional tax liability and stress for your heirs.
We’ll help you consider choices and coordinate the implementation with your attorney. If you do not have an attorney, we can recommend attorneys that we have vetted in the past.
